First Aid Officer

After working as a sign writer, Ally studied as a medic and joined our First Aid team in January 2012.

With experience looking after orphaned kangaroo joeys in the Northern Territory, she now loves working outside and being around our amazing animals, especially the wombats.

When she is not at work, Ally can be found participating in another of her passions, art.

First Aid Officer

Kate joined Australia Zoo in April 2013. She is part of the First Aid response team and plays a vital role here at the Zoo.
Kate is currently training to become a paramedic and loves the hands on experience that her job involves.
Kate spends her days of surfing, diving or travelling around seeing the sights.
Her most amazing animal experience was surfing with Whales and Dolphins.
Kates favourite animals at Australia Zoo are the elephants, because of their huge personalities.

Ashley started work here at Australia Zoo as a school based trainee in December 2007. Starting in Admissions she now plays a vital role in our First Aid department.

In her spare time Ashley volunteers with the local SES and enjoys catching up with friends and playing hockey. Once Ashley has completed her degree she hopes to get a job as a paramedic. Ashley's favourite animals here at Australia Zoo are Bimbo and Sabu, our two gorgeous Asian elephants.
