Grounds and Landscaping
Fred
Fredo is one of the Stalwarts at the Zoo. He's been here for over eleven years now and is like part of the scenery. Fredo is responsible for keeping our gardens looking great and can be found with a hose in his hand or a shovel somewhere around the Zoo. Fred is also an important member of our Croc Team. Fred is married to Thelma and is also Kelsey's father. Fred Enjoys fishing and has spent his life working in the bush.

Neil
Grounds & Landscaping Supervisor
Joining the Grounds crew in July 2006, Neil has had time to find his feet in the Zoo. Originally starting off mowing and assisting with the animal enclosures, Neil decided he prefers the hard yards with the Big Bad Grounds boys at the shed... Hence his nickname BUBBA.
Neil’s favorite animals are the Tigers and in his spare time he likes spending time with his son and daughter and bringing home some fresh fish for dinner after a successful day out fishing.

Andrew
Grounds and Landscaper
Andrew joined our Zoo Crew in September 2008 as a cleaner before transferring to our Grounds Team in September 2009.
Andrew is proud to work for Australia Zoo as he is passionate about helping wildlife. In particular, the Tasmanian Devil. Andrew would like to help find a cure for the facial tumour disease that is threatening the devils.
When not at work, Andrew enjoys camping.

Silent Dave - He's quiet, but he gets the job done.
David
Grounds and Landscaper
Dave finds working at Australia Zoo very challenging, but rewarding at the same time. Dave's hobbies are spending time with his family, playing lawn bowls and just relaxing in the garden. Dave is better known around the Zoo as Silent Dave, because he's pretty quiet but he sure gets the job done. Working at Australia Zoo has made Dave realise how important conservation and protection of our wildlife is, and how we can all play a part in it.

Shane's favourite animal is the tiger and would one day love to work with these incredible animals.
Andrew
