Merchandiser Manager

Gayle joined Australia Zoo in February 2007 with 20 years experience in retail. She was honoured to be appointed the Manager of our first external retail store at Mooloolaba, on the Sunshine Coast.  After a year at the beach Gayle has now moved out to Australia Zoo as our Merchandiser Manager.

Gayle loves relaxing by the beach, weekends and spending time with her friends and family. Her favourite animal at the zoo is Forrest the Giraffe. Gayle looks forward to being part of the growth and expansion of Australia Zoo.

Shellee likes to enjoy the serenity from her back patio. So much serenity...

Shellee

Before the Zoo, she worked as an insurance negotiator for Legal and General in England for 12 years.

Shellee loves all animals, including insects, so it's impossible for her to pick a favourite. But she does adore her two lovely Rhodesian Ridgebacks called Marley and Boston.

In her spare time, Shellee likes to sit on her back patio with her husband Keven and watch the menagerie of wildlife that shares their acreage.

Invoicing Supervisor

Shelly started in the Crocoseum Shop in August 2004 and moved over to our Warehouse in June 2008 and is really enjoying her new challenge as Invoicing Supervisor. Her favourite animals are Lions but her favourites at the Zoo include Yoddah the Red Panda, Singha the Sumatran Tiger, Ivory the Kangaroo, Burrow the Wombat & Charlie the Crocodile.

On weekends & holidays Shelly enjoys Bush Walking, Camping, Four Wheel Driving, Going to the Beach, Going to Concerts, Home Decorating & Gardening with her boyfriend. They have a old white Cat named Stitches.
