You could almost say that this small group of staff run our very own television station!
With our BIG screen (a massive 38m2, two-storey television) and remote cameras these guys make sure our visitors enjoy every moment of our Crocoseum's wildlife action.
The AV Team is responsible for ensuring that each day's shows, both pre-recorded and live in the Crocoseum, run as scheduled. In addition, much of their time is spent filming around the Zoo, at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and on animal rescues.
This dynamic team produces all kinds of exhilarating video clips to be played on the big screen, and for use in other areas of the Zoo. Alongside this, they create promotional material for our marketing department, training videos for our staff, as well as an ever-increasing list of special projects. Keep your eyes open; some of their footage even appears on home TV sets all around the world!

Since Australia Zoo's inception in 1970, many changes and events have taken place. Brad joining the team in late 2011 was not the least important.
Showing great intellect and an aptitude for all things methodological, he had mastered Gassmans theory of Pseudo-acoustics before most folk would have suckled on the teat of adulthood. And therefore, he infused into AV with complete ease.
His proficient authority in AV mastery is the basis of his flair and propensity that is showcased each day in the Crocoseum. The consequences of this finesse will stimulate all that will bare witness to its essence.
Tom joined the Zoo Crew in May 2016, having graduated from Uni with a Film & Television degree. Tom has also done freelance work as a videographer. "I enjoy working with everyone at the Zoo and getting to interact and film our amazing animals'.
Outside of the Zoo, Tom enjoys diving and capturing images above and below the water.
Sam joined the Zoo Crew in October 2016.
