Australia Zoo's dingo puppies, Eve, Jira and Archie are now 11 weeks old. They're growing bigger every day and are becoming more and more confident with their keepers and special guests. Eve in particular was treated to an extra special day last Friday when she met her namesake, Eve Fesl.
Eve Fesl is an elder of the local Gubbi Gubbi people and has a special place in her heart for dingoes having raised some herself! It was love at first sight for these two ‘Eves', with lots of tail-wagging and cuddles taking place at the meeting.
While Eve was the lucky one who got to meet the inspirational woman she was named after, all three of the pups have been named after outstanding indigenous Australians, including singer Archie Roach and famous painter Albert Namatjira.
These curious puppies continue to explore every inch of their new home and enjoy showing off their big personalities to anyone who stops by to see them!
