This year on November 15th Australia Zoo, the Irwin family and Wildlife Warriors are inviting everyone all across the world to don their khaki in celebration of Steve Irwin Day, held in honour of the one and only Crocodile Hunter.
Steve Irwin was a true Aussie legend who lived in his khakis and ventured around the world with his family on a mission to teach people about wildlife and wild places, helping them fall in love with the world’s natural treasures and inspiring everyone to want to make a positive difference in protecting them.
Gates open early on Steve Irwin Day at 8am, Mix FM are providing a free brekkie and award-winning country musician Troy Cassar-Daley is performing some of his greatest hits in the Crocoseum, there’s no better time or place to connect with wildlife!
Don’t miss Terri, Bindi and Robert feeding the crocs in the 12pm Wildlife Warriors show and remember, wear your khakis for 10% off admission to Australia Zoo!
By adding a touch of khaki to any outfit, everyone inspired by Steve can help pay tribute to the greatest Wildlife Warrior that ever lived. All proceeds from Steve Irwin Day will go towards continuing Steve’s legacy, contributing to Wildlife Warriors’ conservation programs which Steve was so passionate about.
