FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) recently announced a major new digital content initiative as part of its partnership with Australia Zoo, called Steve Irwin's Croc Bites, which will see the very best content from the Australia Zoo back catalogue digitised and distributed online.
First up from this new initiative will be an enhanced Australia Zoo YouTube channel, arriving later this year, which will be a combination of existing Australia Zoo video on demand and clips, including The Croc Hunter and Bindi: The Jungle Girl, along with original Australia Zoo content produced specially for the new channel!
FME Asia Pacific CEO Jon Penn said: "FME has been working with YouTube for many years in many different ways, from The X Factor performance clips here in Australia to The Pet Collective pet channel in the US.
"The Australia Zoo Steve Irwin's Croc Bites digital content initiative is a natural extension to our existing partnership with the Zoo, and something we are very pleased to be able to bring to life."
Other elements of the initiative will include Facebook content and other online material expected to be rolled out in late 2012 and into 2013. Wooo-Hoo!
