Crikey! Australia Zoo staff and our Croc Cruiser joined in amongst the sea of red during the 8th annual 'Day for Daniel' on Friday. Australia Zoo is proud to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, which does an excellent job raising awareness of child safety and security issues, right across Australia.
All too often, children are the innocent victims in our sometimes cruel society and the events surrounding Daniel's disappearance have strengthened a community in their resolve to ensure that this type of tragedy never occurs again.
Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin are passionate about child safety, and are the Family Ambassadors for Queensland Children's Week.
