Our rocking Wildlife Warrior star Bindi is officially a teenager. Celebrating her 13th birthday, Australia Zoo turned back the clock to the 1950's where staff, animals, adults and children embraced the bobby socks and poodle skirts to go back in time.
Gates opened early with patrons pouring in to get a piece of all the action. Grease performed live in the Crocoseum, Elvis fed the crocs, Buddy Holly wandered the zoo, and a 1950's vintage car display entertained our guests all day.
Birthday girl Bindi dressed to impress in her best rock-n-roll outfit, donning a red poodle skirt and 1950's hair. As Bindi stepped out of the vintage Cadillac with our special e-bay winner, the 1950's were officially back.
"It was so exciting celebrating at Australia Zoo with a 1950's theme. With all kids free, it was great to see so many kids were in the audience and joining in the festivities. We had 50s dance workshops, the cast from the musical Grease and the best cake, I couldn't have asked for a better day. With the girls in their poodle skirts and bobby socks and guys in their leather jackets, it was great to celebrate turning 13 in style" Bindi said.

I am 7yrs old and travelled from Coffs Harbour NSW to attend Bindi's Birthday on Sunday. I was sooo lucky to meet Bindi, have a photo with her, give her a crystal for her birthday present and also her autograph. I love Bindi, I think she does an amazing job working with all these beautiful animals and protecting them. She inspires me to help in protecting all animals.
