Don't let their size fool you - Australia Zoo's three Asian Elephants are great football players. And yesterday, July 7, they got to practice with their new training equipment from Rebel Sport!
Bimbo, Siam and Sabu absolutely love to kick a ball around their enclosure. It provides great enrichment for the elephants and is very entertaining for our guests. However it doesn't take long for our cheeky three to stand on the ball until it bursts; leaving our elephant keepers on the look-out for more.
Yesterday, Rebel Sport Maroochydore came to the rescue with 100 new balls for Bimbo, Siam and Sabu to enjoy! Wooo-hoo!
Rebel Sport representative Robert Dunne presented the elephant keepers with the first ball yesterday morning. Thanks to this generous donation, our three girls have a lot of footy fun ahead!
