Aussie actor and friend of Steve Irwin, Russell Crowe, has taken the fight to save the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve on to US television.

In an interview on popular talk show ‘The Late Show with David Letterman', Aussie actor, Russel Crowe, talked in length about the reserve and Australia Zoo's campaign to 'Save Steve's Place'.

The interview went to air on Monday night. In just two days, Russell's plea for people to sign the Save Steve's Place petition has resulted in 15000 new signatures. The petition now has a whopping 136,000 signatures and growing fast. You little beauty!
