Crikey! The scariest day of the year, Halloween is just around the corner and Australia Zoo is preparing for this creeeepy day with a stack of eery activities and wicked prizes! Wooooo-hoooooooo!  Don't forget to dust your door step with salt and fill your pockets with candy and come along to Australia Zoo Wednesday, 31October! Also approaching quickly is the very special, much anticipated Steve Irwin Day on 15 November. Taking a step back, September was a busy month with more action at Australia Zoo than you can poke a stick. Bindi and the Crocmen performed LIVE in the  Animal Planet Crocoseum, we welcomed three gorgeous tiger cubs and there was the launch of Brekkie with the Conservation Crew!
Wooooo-hoooooo! Halloween at Australia Zoo will give you a fright of a time with surprises around every corner and wicket treats under every rock! Australia Zoo will treat you to FREE lollies and FREE monster muffins on Wednesday, 31 October. There will be LOADS of eerie activities. Come dressed in your scariest costume for your chance to win a holiday to the Gold Coast. Australia Zoo is anticipating the very special Steve Irwin Day on 15 November  that will be a day for celebrating the extraordinary life of the one and only Croc Hunter, Steve Irwin. Come to Australia Zoo on 15 November for an action packed day and participate in the many activities Steve loved.
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service will be ready to take your blood with their mobile blood donation van, anyone who donates on the day will receive $5.00 off entry, a FREE buffet breakfast and the chance to win a trip to Lady Elliot Island. There will be a mechanical surf board, DIY bird and possum classes, a surprise unveiling and the launch of Terri Irwin’s anticipated book! Wear khaki on the day and watch the trendy khaki inspired fashion parade.
Crikey! These September/October school  holidays were a blast! What an amazing time we've had here at Australia Zoo!
Check these out We had the launch of the Coca-Cola recycling partnership where Khan pounced on the opportunity to show zoo visitors to 'do the right thing' and recycle beverage containers. bindi & The Crocmen rocked the Animal Planet Crocoseum. We introduced our new adorable furry little friends, 3 Bengal Tiger cubs and even gave one lucky person the opportunity to name a cub through an online auction. We launched Brekkie with the Conservation Crew. Hundreds of people jumped on-board Steve's Whale One for AMAZING Sunrise Whale Watching Experiences and had close encounters with hundreds of whales. Terri won the 2007 Telstra Queensland Business Woman of the year award and a partnership with Capilano Honey topped it all off!! WOW, how did we fit it all in?
