Hi! My names is Saffron. I am a cheeky Black-footed Rock Wallaby and I live here at Australia Zoo. I was born in 2006 and hand raised by one of my keepers. I still love it when they give me special attention and a scratch on my chest.
My friends and I love to go racing through the tower of rock we call home! We are extremely agile and are designed to hop all over very steep terrain with excellent speed and balance, thanks to our very long tails and stout but powerful hind legs.
Come and see me in action! I hang out in Roo Heaven, often near the echidnas, and would love you came and said G'day.
