Gators grow up

Check out the size of these blokes. Our five year old alligators are turning six next month and they're getting bigger by the week!
The six male American Alligators, bred here at the Zoo in 2002, are used in our alligator encounter, where patrons can come and have an awesome experience with these modern day dinosaurs.
As these six gorgeous gators grow up, we hope to continue using them in our daily Animal Encounters. In the future visitors will have a chance to get up close and personal with the boys when they are 12 feet long, 500kg adults!
