Alexia the Superstar!

These are very hectic times for koala staff, as over thirty koalas now call Australia Zoo their home. In our ranks we gave a budding star. Her name is Alexia, and we believe her cute koala face will soon be gracing the walls of many people's homes. Why, you ask? Well, Alexia is an up and coming SUPERSTAR!

At Australia Zoo, some of our koalas just love having their photos taken. Anybody who comes into the Zoo is able to have their picture taken holding one of Australia's greatest and cutest native marsupials. The koala is not only extremely cute but also very interesting to learn about, and at Australia Zoo you can experience both of these aspects.

Alexia is now over 18 months old and while she is not yet fully grown, she has an attitude to rival even the most professional of our photo koalas. She has been having photo training over the last few months and she has just recently graduated to professional photos. Her style is very individual and her photo poses are getting rave reviews from the staff and public alike.

We love Alexia a lot here at Australia Zoo as she is such a friendly, cuddly koala. So why don't you visit Alexia some time? You can find her hanging out with her mum and all the new joeys over in Koala Island, or you might even be able to have a cuddle at our photo studio! We would love to see you some time and as a koala keeper who knows her well, I'm pretty sure Alexia would too.
