Matilda

Matilda is a seven-year-old female koala who currently has a joey just emerged from the pouch named 'Mash'. Matilda has proven to be a very good mum who has three other offspring – Oprah, Lawson, and Mac, all of whom have very gentle natures. The most distinguishing features Matilda has are her very large ears, and she was good enough to also pass this trait down to her latest joey.Matilda is one of our bigger females, weighing just under 7kg, and with her very sweet nature she is always keen for a cuddle from one of her keepers – that is when she is not too busy caring for her young.
