Zeke

Zeke is a two year old male Tasmanian Devil and a relatively new a addition to Australia Zoo. We received him from Adelaide Zoo in Feb 2004 to bring some new genes into our Devil breeding program. You will find Zeke on display at the Zoo and will see that he is an extremely active little boy. He loves to participate in our enrichment activities, which may include food scatters, boxes to destroy or scent trails to follow, and he often likes to spend time with the keepers checking out where their boots have been that day. Zeke, like all our devils, gets a selection of meats throughout the week. They also love treats such as eggs, bones and insects. Being a male, Zeke still has some more growing but we are certain he will be well up to the job come the next mating season.
