Kato Introductions

Our wombat family is growing again! Our newest arrival is a female Common Wombat called Kato. She has just had her first birthday and that means she gets to come and meet some wombat friends, and move to a new home.For a one year old wombat it can be a very tiring experience meeting new friends and having a new home, so Kato is only in her new home for a few hours each day. There are a lot of new things for her to explore, including a pond, a sandpit, a large yard of grass, air conditioned dens, new sounds and new smells and of course new wombat friends.
Kato enjoys following her keepers around grazing on grass, and of course going into the air conditioned dens for a nap with one of her new friends - Minibus.
Our Amazing Common Wombats
