More Snake Calls!

Crikey! Have we been busy with snake calls this week or what? And it's not even summer yet!We didn't have to go very far for one of this week's calls, though! One feisty little fella, a Keelback Snake, was removed from our dingo enclosure here at the zoo. These guys are a completely harmless freshwater snake, and they are very good to have around because they are able to eat cane toads without being harmed. This one had to be removed because in the eyes of a dingo, a snake makes a great toy. So to protect both snake and dingo, all snakes are removed from their enclosure.
