Our Stand-Up Comedian!

At close to four tonne, Siam is our resident comedian with a dry sense of humour. Siam is over three meters in height and is our oldest elephant at 51! Because of this, Siam should be the matriarch but she is not interested in the job. She is a happy go lucky, independent elephant that enjoys spending time alone making up her own games and getting into mischief.

Siam's little antics include sneaking in to get our palm trees without getting caught, and who can forget the day she sprayed a trunk full of water over one of her keepers. She has even pretended to spray the crowd that came up to one of the Elephantasia demonstrations but instead sprayed the garden in front of them.

Siam is an extremely playful elephant and she shows us her funny side by playing with a variety of toys and getting wet in her swimming pool. When all the fun has tired her out, she beds down for a nanny nap on her dirt mound in her enclosure.
