Twenty-two more!
25 August 2006
Continuing on from the great success of team 001 up at Croc trip 2006, we have just learned that the second group of legendary Wildlife Warriors (consisting of Marko, Dan, Herbdog and Sanchez) has been doing us proud by catching another 22 crocs and fitting them all with data-gathering trackers. The total number of crocs fitted with trackers is now 41, which is more than any other croc trip has produced. This kind of result was always going to be likely, considering the world's best croc team was on the job.
The team has another two weeks of solid work ahead of them, so the final tally could possibly be 50 crocs or more. We recently spoke to Herbdog via satellite phone and asked him how the trip has been for him. His words were few, but he did say it was the most important and spiritual thing he had done since turning to religion earlier on in the year. He also mentioned he was really missing his partner Krystal and their loving pets.
So stay tuned, folks, for the ground-breaking revelations as a result of this trip. As always, the croc team and crocs RULE!
