Jingle Bells

21 December 2007

In keeping with tradition (see Animal Diaries 22nd December 2006), the koala department are once again celebrating the festive season with a bit of a sing-a-long. This year we were lucky enough to be joined by the old man Santa Claus himself, who had a bit of a close encounter with Tucker the koala! (By the way, Tucker was VERY interested in the smell of Santa's beard!). Have a sing-a-long to this familiar tune:
(Jingle Bells)
Climbing through the trees
As we run and jump and play,
One by one we go
Bellowing all the way.

Leaves on gum trees grow
And fill our bellies round
Oh how nice it is to live so high above the ground, hey,

Jingle Bells, Koalas smell, in a gummy way.
Oh what fun it is to sleep, all through Christmas Day! Hey!

Have a great holiday season and catch you next time with some more koala stories or facts!
