Profile Of Alice The Komodo Dragon

The Komodo has the reputation of being crocodile of the land. Their aggressive nature and prehistoric predatory skills sure make them an impressive lizard, however as you will discover we have been able to build some special relationships with our five Komodos.

SPECIES: Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis)
NAME: Alice Alice is the bigger of our two females and certainly plays the part of the shy, quiet girl next door. Alice's timid nature made getting to know her a slow process but she has since warmed to her keepers and allowed them to show her the affection she has come to love. She was recently introduced to Ora and Lulu (another two of our dragons) and loves their company. On top of this, her new home has an added bonus; it comes with a swimming pool and she takes a dip almost every day.
