Tahune and Zeehan are growing up!

It's time for another update on our two gorgeous Tasmanian boys, Tahune and Zeehan. These boys are Australia Zoo-born and bred, and last time one and were first coming out on display. You should see them now! At around 17 months of age they are getting big and are every bit as handsome as their dad Zeke. The boys are regularly on display now and have already grown bigger than their mum Tula, who lives in the enclosure nearby. These boys have loads of personality, and one of the highlights of their keepers' day is cleaning their enclosure and getting stuck into enrichment with them - they are so playful and cheeky!
Working with Tasmanian Devils every day means the most common question we get asked is, "Are they vicious?". Sadly, Tasmanian Devils have a very misleading reputation. In fact they are rather shy and timid creatures, and part of our job every day is to try and get people to see them in a more positive light. And we reckon that most people who get to see our gorgeous boys in action end up loving them as much as we do!
