Our Tasmanian Devils - Tula And Jinki
4 June 2004
Tula and Jinki are our youngest Tasmanian Devils, turning one year old on the 13th of May. They were hand-raised from five months of age and are very friendly, having bonded with all of their keepers. Their names were derived from aboriginal terms - Tula meaning 'quiet' and Jinki meaning 'spirited' - however the opposite meanings are true for each of their personalities. Tula is very energetic and vocal like a true devil, while Jinki is very placid and loves a cuddle and attention from her keepers. You can see them out walking our rovers around the park each morning and afternoon. Check out the roving update of the devils on the roving page to see what else is happening with these gorgeous girls.
