Growing up fast!

We are very excited, as our baby Eclectus Parrots are growing up so fast. Jasper and Lava are now sharing an aviary and have become the best of buddies. They have also been spending supervised time with their youngest sister Jardine in our play aviary. Jardine has all her feathers now and has recently moved outdoors into our weaning aviary. At the moment she is a little too young to be left alone with her big sis and bro, as they can be a little bossy but she is slowly learning to stick up for herself. She is still on paste (baby food), getting two feeds a day and starting to experiment with solid foods.

Jasper and Lava have figured out what their wings are all about and are enjoying showing off to little Jardine as they do their flights to us in the play aviary. However, it will not be too long until she follows in their wing path; look out guys!
