With school holidays just around the corner we’ve got lots of new babies for everyone to see!

We have six little piglets, just a few weeks old, very sociable and lovable with an amazing array of colours and patterns. They’ve settled into Kids Zoo in record time and love meeting and greeting visitors in their traditional piglet style by rubbing and pushing their snout firmly and persistently into visitors’ hands. A tummy-rub is greatly appreciated too!

We have three small lambs, Jai, Georgia and Maybeline who are absolutely adorable. The lambs love going over to the grazing area on sunny days where they run flat out up and down the entire length of the pen doing side kicks and, of course, the lamb special – bouncing along with all four feet off the ground at once… they’re soooo cute! Mary, our older and more sedate Damara lamb is a little apprehensive of all this wild behavior and she hides behind any available keeper until all the lamb frolicking has quietened down a little, sneaking a look now and then to check the intensity of the action and assessing when its safe to come out and graze.

Our newest additions are Tony and Tina, two calves who are now just a week old. Calves are always a favourite in Kids Zoo with their curious nature and big brown eyes. They are going really well learning to walk out and about on their leads.

So make sure you come and visit all these newies in Kids Zoo, and remember if it’s a sunny morning and the lambs aren’t in Kids Zoo they’ll be out playing, so head on over the camel bridge and go and watch all the fun!
