It’s Bottle-Feeding Time!

This week I am going to tell you about one of the best parts of the day in the Kids Zoo... bottle feeding. Bottle feeding happens everyday at 10:30am without fail. Bottle feeding is a time where the public can get involved and feed our animals with the bottles (big and little kids). It is very exciting to watch everyone's face when they can experience this; to see how people react to this with their big smiles and laughter. It makes us feel proud to share our beautiful babies with everyone.

We bottle feed all our animals; kids, lambs, calves and also our baby piglets. The piglets bottles are usually everyone's favourite, and are the first to go. Bottle feeding time is fun for everyone, especially our babies. They just can't wait for their bottle. They tend to make a lot of noise so that we don't forget. Believe me, though there is no way we could. With 30 animals screaming there is no way anyone could forget.

So next time you are in the Kids Zoo make sure your're there at 10:30am. You wouldn't want to miss out on this amazing and exciting experience of helping us feed our babies.
