Happy, Happy Birthday

Wow! Our little girl is now a big one-year-old! Twinkle, our beautiful orphaned goat, turned one last Friday; she is growing up so fast.

Twinkle came to us at the Zoo when she was only three days old. Steve and Terri found our little Twinkle on a cold winter day, out in the wild all by herself. Needless to say, Twinkle soon found a nice home with the Kids' Zoo crew, and enjoyed a lot of visits from Bindi.

When Twinkle first arrived at the Zoo she didn't know how to drink from a bottle, so it took a lot of love and patience on both sides to teach her how to drink. But after a while she finally got the hang of things and she hasn't missed a bottle since. As Twinkle is a beautiful grey colour, it didn't take long for everyone to fall in love with this adorable kid. Before we knew it, Twinkle was our photo star - everywhere the camera was, there was Twinkle right in front. Everyone wanted their photo taken with Twinkle.

Twinkle our diva shares a nice home with our big princess girl Emmaline and our curly boy Mackenzie, who had his first birthday a few days before Twinkle's. Along the way, Twinkle has chosen a very special friend called Sheree. Sheree met Twinkle when she was a little tacker and fell in love. Twinkle was very lucky to have met Sheree and they spent her birthday together, with lots of presents and cuddles for Twinks.

So it is safe to say that Twinkle is now a permanent resident at Kids' Zoo. Next time you are at Australia Zoo, pop in and say hi to Twinkle and all her little friends.
