Basking in the Sun

Hi everyone, my name is Kelly and I am one of the European Red Foxes here at Australia Zoo. I have noticed that my human handlers are loving the warm sunny weather at the moment, but they aren't the only ones. After a tasty lunch, we can often be seen in a favourite area of our home, sunning ourselves. As the oldest and most confident fox here, I tend to utilise these sunny spots more than my friends, Kit and Roxy. So next time you come to see us, keep an eye out on the sunny spots and you may be lucky enough to see one of us sunbaking the afternoon away. If you can't see us in the sunny spots, look at the top of the waterfall, we may be taking a break from the heat.
