Krystal's Training With The Dingoes

1 April 2005

Hi everyone! Krystal here and I just wanted to share with you my very exciting news. I've just started training with our six beautiful dingoes.

Now, I've done training with wombats, koalas, snakes, alligators and more, but nothing comes close to being the same as working with these intelligent creatures. Trying to keep these playful pups in focus can be next to impossible, especially when Steve comes past, they just go crazy for him. But luckily 'mummy Tanya' is there to help and guide us so we always seem to get their attention eventually- even if it takes until they can't see Steve anymore, or us dangling food in front of their nose and making some very strange high pitched noise - it does happen!

Once you finally get these guys to focus they are very well behaved and happy to continue and join in on the training. I really am enjoying learning how to train such a clever animal, but at the moment I am sure it is more like them training me!
