Hey everybody! Wow, it's that time already; this year has passed us by so fast and we all have had a very big and busy year. The past year has been so much fun and I'm so glad to be a part of such an awesome team - the Wandering Wildlife team. I've been in the roving department for a year now and it would have to be one of the best years of my life. I have spent the year working with a great bunch of girls and getting to meet all different kinds of people from all over the world (not to mention having the very difficult job of playing with all kinds of cute, cuddly and scaly animals). Yeah, I know - it's hard work, but someone has to do it!Christmas time through New Year's is a very busy time for the Zoo, so as a rover it's one of my favourite times. I love seeing all the kids' faces when they ask if they can pat the animals we are with. When they get to pat that certain animal (maybe for their very first time) I love seeing the look of excitement on their faces.
Well, from all the rovers here at Australia Zoo, we can't wait to see you here these school holidays. I hope you all have an amazing and safe New Year!
