My Kind of Girl

31 March 2006

We have six amazing dingoes here at Australia Zoo, all with their own beautiful personalities. Today I'm going to tell you who is my favourite and why she is extra special to me.

Our "dingo on red cordial" Teyha, to me is something else, unlike the others. I reckon if you were to convert her into a human she would be the perfect woman (for me). She's such a bubbly, energetic, happy, fine-featured punk rocker (hence the mowhawk), and she showers you in kisses as you walk through the front gate. That's the kind of greeting I would love to receive every day when I get home!

I think we have a lot in common as well. When it comes to pack structure in the group, Teyha is keen to fit in anywhere. She is quite easygoing, and quite a free spirit. When the other girls are sorting out alpha, she will sit back and watch it all happen. She's always up for some mischief amongst the group, just to keep everyone sane... but at times taking it too far!

I hope she never changes, because it's characters like Teyha that make my day at the Zoo a pleasure.
