Bronte, new to our rainforest aviary

We have just released our newest member to our rain forest aviary, Bronte the female Regent Bower Bird. Bronte has joined us to befriend our female Regent Bower Bird, Belle. When she first arrived here she spent a short time in quarantine where she was closely watched for signs of disease or illness. After the quarantine period she was given the all clear by our vets and was released into the Rain forest Aviary to settle into her new life.So far Belle seems pretty pleased with her new friend, with whistling, calling and displaying of her wings, while Bronte is very excited to explore her new surroundings and check out where all the good food spots are in the aviary. These birds like to eat fruit and nectar so your best chance to see them is when they have come down to the feeders for a snack, but they can be very shy so if you don't stop, look and listen for their calls you may just miss them.
