Welcome Freckles

I am happy to introduce our newest and youngest member of the Kids Zoo family. Her name is Freckles and she is a four week old lamb. After taking a couple of days to get used to her new home and learning how to drink from a bottle she has fitted into her new family well. She is always excited to see us when we arrive in the mornings and greets us by running over to the fence, bleating all the way. It is always nice to start the morning off feeling loved.

She is very inquisitive and likes to go exploring within her pen, however she is still a little tentative when we take her out for her daily walk. Hopefully with time and encouragement she will become very confident and enjoy these outing as much as everyone else. I think that once she begins to eat the grass and is not so concerned about all the people that she see's roaming around outside with her she will feel right at home.

So if you are out and about near Kids Zoo and you see Freckles come over and say hello. Hopefully, some time soon, she will have gained all her confidence and be happy to have a pat from all the people that come to visit her.
