What a Crew!

Here at the Kids Zoo, we're always really happy to see our volunteers. Withso many young animals there's always lots to do and the vollies ensure that
the animals get that extra bit of attention that they love - whether it's
taking them for walks out on the grass, helping out with the bottle feeding,
brushing the animals or just an extra cuddle and a pat.

Gemma has been volunteering since October and as she's an animal
behaviourist back home in the UK, she has helped us out with calf training,
giving us handy tips to use when calf walking. Now that the two calves,
Arthur and Marthur, have returned to the farm we have two new Jersey calves, one by the name of Josey and the other... you guessed it - her name is Gemma!

As you can see from the photo, volunteer Gemma is very happy with her
namesake!
