Banjo Impresses the Holiday Visitors

Christmas holidays always mean lots of visitors to the zoo. And that means lots more people being won over by our beautiful koalas. In particular Banjo, who claims prime position in a stunning enclosure located right in the middle of the zoo’s eatery. Each afternoon the koala keepers enter Banjo’s enclosure to provide him with a fresh feed of eucalyptus leaf, and Banjo responds with lots of grunting and bellowing, to let us know that we’re in his territory. During Christmas the viewing area around his enclosure gets swamped with visitors amused by his display.But Banjo, being the stud that he is, completely ignores all the hype surrounding him, and leisurely has a scratch before sampling some of his dinner. So, if you’re enjoying some lunch in the eatery and you hear a strange sound echoing through the hall, don’t worry, it’s just Banjo reminding everyone that he’s the boss of the food court.
