Enchanted Aviary

Once upon a time there was a khaki girl frolicking in a rainforest aviary. As she was going about her daily routine she noticed a magnificent purple eye peering at her through the thicket. It disappeared as quickly as she saw it. She continued to prepare the food for all her friends when a fig fruit fell in front of her. She looked around but there were no fig trees nearby.

Standing there confused she noticed a green flash flying from tree to tree. She whispered, “come out and show yourself”. He flew down to the food tray she was preparing and with a mysterious glance started to eat her fruit. She looked at him puzzled. Then quick as lighting he stole her blue pen lid and zoomed off through the branches. She rose to her feet and dashed after him to discover his blue treasure. She smiled to herself and said “I will name you Soren – meaning prudent and wise". She went back preparing fruit for her friends excited about telling them of her new friend, Soren, the Satin Bowerbird and his treasure.
