ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS

Come and meet our young camels Ester and Delilah in our new Curious Camels encounter. These girls love a brush and a treat and if you're really lucky you may get a cuddle too. With their gorgeous, long eyelashes and kissable lips these girls will have you falling in love in no time.

Timing and Days

• One Curious Camels encounter is held daily.
• Encounters run from 11:45am - 12:05pm. Participants meet at the Information Desk 10 minutes prior to encounter.

Price and Guest Limit

• $40 per person (does not include admission). Admission can be paid on arrival at the Zoo.
• Minimum age 8 years.
• Maximum 4 people per encounter.

Bookings

• Bookings can be made at the Information Desk by 11:15am on the day of the encounter or can be made in advance by calling (07) 5436 2002 or by email via our contact form.

Extras

• Includes one Australia Zoo gift per person.
• Participants must wear enclosed shoes.

Terms and Conditions

1.Camel encounters are only available to participants 8 years and above. All children must be accompanied to the enclosure by a supervising adult.
2.All participants must agree to follow instructions given by the handlers.
3.Participants may be asked to exit the enclosure at the handlers' discretion at any time.
4.Please ensure that you wash your hands both before and after the encounter.
5.No personal items are permitted into the enclosure during the experience, with the exception of cameras.
6.Participants are required to wear enclosed footwear.
7.Australia Zoo does not take responsibility for any injuries that are received during the experience. First Aid will be called if required.
8.An Australia Zoo photographer will be present during the encounter to capture the action. Photos will be available for viewing and purchase from the Fujifilm photography lab 30 minutes after the encounter has taken place. Price includes one Australia Zoo gift per person.
