Crikey! The countdown has begun for Steve Irwin Day on November 15 - an international and annual event to celebrate the extraordinary life of the one and only Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The day will represent the many things Steve was passionate about: FAMILY, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION and FUN.

Steve Irwin Day is also a day where people around the world join together to raise money for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to help continue Steve's conservation work and the preservation of wildlife and wild places.

There will be STACKS of fun and activities on Steve Irwin Day, all focused on celebrating and remembering the life of Steve Irwin!How much fun is this day going to be?! By jingoes we hope to see you at Australia Zoo to celebrate the life of the greatest wildlife warrior that ever lived, Steve Irwin.

Khaki-it Kids chill-out zone

When you're all tuckered out from all the action why not check out the Khaki-it kids chill out zone. With LIVE performances from Renata Halpin with her "Kids can go green too" show, cooking demonstrations from our reptile chefs and much more this is a great spot to chill out and relax!

Possum Box Making

Help your local Wildlife by making one of these awesome Possum boxes! These boxes are a great way to invite local wildlife such as possums and sugar gliders into your backyard. They also keep them safe from preditors!

Little Green Thumbs- Plant your own seedling!

The team from Little Green Thumbs will be joining us on the day and helping you do your bit for the ennviroment by planting your own native seedling in a bio cup for you to take home!

Oz Mosaics- Mosaic workshop

Add your piece to the conservation puzzle and help us create an awesome African themed masterpiece! The team from Oz Mosaics will help you add your piece of tile to the work of art. Once it's completed you can tag yourself in the photograph to let all your family and friends know that that piece was your contribution to conservation!

All this PLUS FREE face painting, FREE colouring competition and a Major Prize Draw where you can WIN stacks of awesome prizes we've got more fun and games than you can poke a stick at!
