Dr Scott Hocknull will be on hand to tell you everything you didn't know about all our Australian Dinosaurs! You can even touch and feel real Dinosaur Fossils and have the chance to participate in his fossil preparation demonstrations in the Queensland Museum Dino Lab Display!

See Australia's most complete fossil at Kronosaurus Korner
The team at Kronosaurus Korner will be displaying a copy of the Richmond Pliosaur fossil, Australia's most complete vertebrate fossil! Cattle grazier, Rob Ievers the discoverer of the Pliosaur will give a talk on this amazing discovery every hour on the hour. Palaeontologist, Paul Stumkat will also describe how to find your own fossils at the free fossil hunting sites around Richmond.
Paul Stumkat has been the curator of palaeontology at Kronosaurus Korner for 5 years. His position has seen the creation of many new displays and the excavation of many fantastic fossil discoveries. Previously he was a Senior Preparator at Qld Museum for 18 years. He is also an accomplished artist / sculptor with Palaeo artwork on display in many museums. His art work is featured in many public places and museums including sculpture work in the Gallery of Modern Art Brisbane.
Rob Ievers is a well known public figure in Outback Qld. He was Deputy Mayor of Richmond Shire Council and is one of the founders of Kronosaurus Korner which houses the most amazing exhibition and collection of giant marine reptiles and dinosaurs in outback Qld. He and his brother, Ian Ievers discovered the Richmond Pliosaur which is the most complete vertebrate Cretaceous fossil ever discovered in Australia. They are also the discoverers of another incredible dinosaur, Minmi also the most complete dinosaur ever found in Australia.
