JANE GOODALL - CELEBRATING HER 80TH YEAR is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to hear Dr Jane Goodall, a global icon of our time, talk through highlights of her amazing life and career. Dr Goodall will travel to Australia for three exclusive live shows in Sydney, Melbourne and finally - Australia Zoo on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Australia Zoo's world-famous Crocoseum will open its doors to the event on Sunday 8th June at 2:00pm. Hosted by acclaimed Australian television presenter and Award-winning journalist, Ray Martin, Jane will be joined by special guests, Terri and Bindi Irwin for this exclusive event.
Once dubbed ‘the woman who redefined man', Dr Goodall has changed perceptions of primates, people, and the connection between the two. Over the past two decades however, Dr Goodall has become an international voice for much more, from climate change and habitat destruction to GMO food production and farming.
From catching the attention of the world as a young woman living amongst the chimpanzees in deepest Africa to travelling the globe for 300 days per year as a determined and passionate conservationist, humanitarian and UN Messenger of Peace.
Terri and Bindi Irwin will speak with Jane and the audience about life at Australia Zoo, their dedication to conservation through their charity, Wildlife Warriors, Bindi's mission to educate and empower the next generation on animals and conservation, and the legacy of Steve that carries on in all they do.
Proceeds from the Australia Zoo show will be directed to Wildlife Warriors and the Jane Goodall Institute Australia.
