Darren Percival performs LIVE in the Crocoseum
Fresh from his astounding appearances on The Voice Australia Series 1 and news that his album Happy Home debuted at number 3 on the ARIA Album Charts in its first week of release, Darren Percival will perform close to home at Australia Zoo on Steve Irwin Day.

Darren is respected by his peers and enjoys an abundant career in music. His pedigree is impeccable having studied under some of our greatest vocalists; including Kerrie Biddell, Alan Dean and Bobby McFerrin. He played clubs and pubs and was a much in demand vocalist, touring and recording with the best artists and musicians in the business.

Now in 2012, his vocal performances have landed him to a new level of success and a new audience of millions. His coach Keith Urban has helped to inspire the veteran entertainer into an even more confident original artist. We are delighted Darren will be joining us for an amazing day of entertainment.

Terri, Bindi and Robert will open the day with Australian actor and musician, John Waters and Olympic Gold Medallist, Melanie Schlanger in the Crocoseum
John Waters is one of Australia's most recognised, respected critically acclaimed actors and singers. He has retained an audience across four decades of theatre, musicals, TV, film and music, interrupted only by various digressions into personal and creative exploration all of which have only added to the credibility surrounding him.

Melanie Schlanger is an Australian Olympic Gold Medallist freestyle swimmer training at the Southport Olympic Swimming Club on the Gold Coast in Queensland under head coach Glenn Baker. As part of the 4x100m freestyle relay team, Melanie won Australia's first Gold medal of the London 2012 Games. She then went on to win two Silver medals in the 4x200m freestyle relay and 4x100m medley relay, as well as placing fourth in the individual 100m Freestyle. Several other career highlights include, seting an Olympic Record in the 4x100m Freestyle relay at the London 2012 Olympic Games, winning a GOLD and BRONZE medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and braking a WORLD RECORD for the Short Course 4x100m Freestyle relay in 2007!
