Cabbage Tree Palm
Livistona australis
Mostly this kind of plant is found in moist open forest, often in swampy sites and on margins of rainforests or near the sea. It is widely spread along the New South Wales coast and extends north into Queensland and southwards to eastern Victoria, growing further south than any other native Australian palm.

Cordyline
Cordyline rubra
Cordyline rubra, known as the Palm Lily is an evergreen Australian plant. It grows as a shrub to around 4 metres tall. Found in warm rainforest and moist eucalyptus forest.

Crow's Nest
Asplenium australasicum
Asplenium australasicum is a species of fern in the Aspleniaceae family found in eastern Australia. Common names include bird's nest fern and crow's nest fern.
Apart from its use as an ornamental plant, it is also a popular vegetable in Taiwan.

Lomandra
Lomandra longifolia
Lomandra longifolia, commonly known as Spiny-head Mat-rush, Spiky-headed Mat-rush or Basket Grass, is a perennial, rhizomatous herb found throughout eastern Australia.
It grows in a variety of soil types and is frost, heat and drought tolerant.

Pandanus
Pandanus spiralis
Pandanus spiralis is shrub or small tree up to 10 metres in height native to northern Australia.
The plant bears a large, pineapple-like fruit that turns red when ripe.

Paperbark Tree
Melaleuca leucadendra
Melaleuca leucadendra is widely distributed in northern parts of Australia.
The tree has thick spongy bark, similar to the Broad-leaf paperbark Tea Tree (Melaleuca quinquenervia). However, the foliage of Melaleuca leucadendra is of a brighter green and has a slightly weeping habit.

Queensland Bottle Tree

It can grow to 18-20 meters (59-65 feet) in height and its trunk has the unique shape of a bottle. Its swollen trunk is primarily used for water storage.
Bottle Trees are commonly found planted in streets, parks, on farms and as features in gardens.

Commonly known as the Stag Horn Fern it is native to Australia, in east central New South Wales and in Queensland. It is a bracket epiphyte occurring in and near rainforests.

Costus barbatus, also known as Spiral Ginger, is a perennial plant with a red inflorescence. It is one of the most commonly cultivated Costus species.

Heliconia
Heliconia
The flowers can be hues of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens, and are subtended by brightly colored bracts. These bracts protect the flowers; floral shape often limits pollination to a subset of the hummingbirds in the region. The plants typically flower during the wet season.
