There’s a brand new island on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast! Bindi’s Island opened in December 2014, and offers an island adventure like no other – Right here at Australia Zoo!
Take a journey to a tropical paradise where you’ll find Bindi’s incredible three-storey treehouse. Inspired by Bindi the Jungle Girl's treehouse and Bindi's adventures as Nim in Return to Nim's Island, the new addition was designed and built by the creative Australia Zoo team. Complete with an authentic shipwreck entrance, Bindi’s Island will transport you to your ultimate wildlife haven, with our cheeky ring-tailed lemurs on display for the first time and roaming free amongst guests!
And it’s not just lemurs - Bindi’s island friends also include our Giant Aldabran Tortoises, Coconut and Jarvis, with our beautiful macaws, boa constrictors and an alligator snapping turtle on display too.
