Live spider display

Come down and meet some of our eight-legged friends at our amazing pop-up spider exhibit!

Queensland Museum will be here to get you up close and personal with these incredible creatures, and you may even catch a live feeding of the beautiful arachnids. It will make your skin crawl........

Trick or Treat?!

We'll have plenty of treats on the day including free spooky face-painting until 11am, a fancy dress competition and Trick or Treating in The Laughing Frog Lolly Shop, Croc Lair, Tiger Cart, Australiana, Crocoseum Boutique and Elephantasia gift shops!

Carve your own jack-o'-lantern*

Jack-o'-lantern pumpkin carving is fun, kid-friendly and perfect for getting the entire family in the Halloween spirit.

Watch out for signage on the day for workshop times and locations.

Halloween animal shows

Halloween isn't just for humans, watch our animals enjoy this spooky holiday too. Their treats will be in the form of fun-filled pumpkins!

Judge our pumpkin carvings

Halloween guests will also have the opportunity to judge our staff pumpkin carving competition, a hotly contested title at Australia Zoo each October!
